OUR PASTOR

Pastor Jeff Blomquist was born and raised in Pembina, ND.  Jeff met the Lord when he was participating in a Child Evangelism Fellowship Bible Book Club at the young age of seven.  After High School he attended Moorhead State University in Moorhead, MN, where he met his future wife, Pam.  After graduation he started a career in the medical field as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist and spent the next 25 years working in Cardiac Cath Labs in North Dakota and Minnesota.  During that time Jeff and Pam had three daughters and Jeff desired to study scripture in a very structured way and started to take Bible classes by correspondence which lead to completing a bachelors degree in pastoral studies, a masters degree in evangelism and mission, a second masters in theology and a Th.D. in pastoral theology.  During this time Jeff continued working in cath labs and finally after seventeen years at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN Jeff answered the call to become the pastor of Cornerstone Community Church in Harvey, ND.  During his time in lay ministry Jeff enjoyed teaching all ages of Sunday School and working with Awana programs.
